Data protection is something that we never thought we'd have to deal with. We were all in control of our personal data. The most protection we needed was to ensure our bank details were disfigured when we binned the pieces of paper. Now we have passwords with special characters and numbers. And still somehow our accounts are being accessed.
Facebook is a good example of a data protection incident. Soon this was sealed up and the accounts were secured and the "holes" were soon patched and sealed. The full story can be found on these websites
